I have only found one brand of blank CDs that i can get to work in my Bose CD Radio (1996 coupe). I only have 12 CD's left. Every other brand of CD that I have tried will err out and not work in my Bose. I can burn the same exact songs on the working brand and it will play perfectly. If anyone knows of anything I can change to make the other brands of CDs work, please let me know.

Re: Burning CD problem for Bose on my 96 -- Help !! (mr96)
Bose will read just about any CDR just make sure you burn it in iso mode 1 or xa1. If the option is not set then set it. Also if your using Adaptec, stop, get ahead nero and burn them with that. My 93 blows never not read any burned cd.
Re: Burning CD problem for Bose on my 96 -- Help !! (kittmaster)
read up...nero burning rom by ahead...i use crappy cd's and every one plays in every cd player i put it in....
adaptec easy cd destroyer dont play well with others..
if you need to keep adaptec, good luck...at least go to the adaptec site and download and install thier newast aspi layer,,it plays better with nero's aspi..
nero may have a new aspi out by now, check that also..all this does make a diff in how a cd will play...older burners sometimes did have thier own probs also..
