Yes thanks, That prtty much tells it,
In the old days if I installed an afteramrket headunit, I would buy an adptor plug that wired into the aftermarket radio then just plugged into the car....
In this case I wanted to do that didn't want to cut the indash wires, needed the switched hot, always hot , ground, power ant wire, and then in the case of this Bose thing I have to run new speaker wires,
But I think it was Kale who pointed out how easy that is in the c4, that one web site where the dude put a new stereo in the car that had a mouse nest in it was also great....

sorry I haven't been here, I was seeking basically the same info....I have a wiring diagram but haven't had time to track down everything involved in this Bose system..... :crazy:
