I've seen several in previous posts. Is it as easy as just tracing the existing pattern on to some hardboard? Anyone actually have a PDF or other electronic copy you can print?
Is "hardboard" available at the local home center?

You can trace the Bose template when you remove it. Most use .25, .50, or .75" MDF (Hardboard). One member even machines them out of nylon and sells them on here. He will cut the holes any diameter you need. Pretty neat.

Well MDF is not the same as hardboard. Most guys use 3/4" MDF, but I use 1/4" Hardboard. Hardboard is available at Home Depot for $1.87 for a 2'x2' sheet. Hardboard is just Pegboard with out the holes drilled in it. I like it because it is just as strong as MDF, but since you can use 1/4", you have more clearance and you can use the stock bolts w/out having to countersink.
I don't want to take away any business from the guy who makes the nylon ones, but I have 2 extra sets made up already. I'll sell them to you for the the cost of shipping and my time to pack them up $15.
