Default moderately priced system

I'm getting ready to put together a moderately priced system for my '91 coupe. Here's what I'm looking at:

Blaupunkt MP3000
http://www.sounddomain.com/shop/item.pl?sku=BLAMP3000

US Acoustics USX2080
http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/USAUSX2080

I'm not sure about speakers; does anyone have an opinion on Crystals?

Any advice?

doesn't sound bad, but you're going to be missing out on everything below 80hz...

Are you saying that you think I need to get a sub, or is there a component system that would work better at low frequencies?

You'll need a sub, no component set will get you the 20-80 Hz frequencies. What you have is fine for now, just be sure to "think ahead" and allow yourself flexibility in your system design. You might want to get a 4 channel amp instead of a 2 channel for example. Later on if you want to add a sub, you can use the same amp by bridging the rear channels and running the rear speakers (if you want them) from the HU.
