I bought the PIE CD Changer harness. I looked undr the passenger floor panel and found the 4 pin socket. There is supposed to be a 3 pin socket as well that is taped to another wiring harness. I can't find the 3 pin socket. I also am not sure how I can get the harness plugged into the 4 pin socket due to its orientation and the lack of space to manuver my fingers.
My fatazz had tons of trouble getting them connected (I DID have both connectors). I eventually removed the harness clip from the body and easily connected them. Get a pair of small needle nose pliers and disconnected the retaining clip..... much easier than laying there bruising your ribs :yesnod:
I just received a phone call from Tuan Lee. He is a CorvetteForum.com Supporting Vendor. I bought the harness from him. He is giving me excellent service. He is helping me finish the installation. Please use Tuan for your purchases to get good prices and service.
It was very nice meeting you today. Enjoy the new capability. :) Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. Have a great weekend.
Tuan found the well hidden 3 pin socket and connected the harness. I can now listen to my iPAQ or my ARCHOS 20 GB jukebox through my factory sound system. This makes my 50th AE even more enjoyable.
Tuan is a very nice person and it was a pleasure to meet him.
