Help - rear carpet removal (coupe)
I've tried searching past posts but can't find it but I'm certain someone had a thread detailing how to remove the rear carpeting in a C5 coupe. Can anyone direct me to it. Thanks.

Re: Help - rear carpet removal (TNT C5)
I don't know if there is a post, but ther rear carpet removes pretty easily. just start pulling it up carefully. It really isn't attached to anything, just remove the targa top "egg" shape things on the floor by twisting them 90 degrees.
hope that helps

Re: Help - rear carpet removal (MVP)
1. Remove the three cargo bin covers.
2. Remove the two trim panels in the back corners of the car. Twist off the hooks on the sides of the cargo area and then lift the rear panels up and in at the same time. You also have to extend the rear targa top mounting posts to get the trim panels off over the targa top post handles.
3. Remove the covers for the lower targa top mounts (the eggshape things that TNT C5 mentioned).
Once those steps are completed, the carpet simply lifts out.
Hope this helps.
