XM QUESTION
can anyone tell me what color the power wire is on the back of my stock head unit in a C5 that will allow my XM satt. stay on with the raido after the car is shut off, but will turn off when the door is open

You are talking about RAP (Retained Accessory Power). Unfortunatly, this isn't as simple as it sounds. As far as I know, there is no way to reproduce this feature with any kind of after market audio gear.
You can use the extra wire harness in the passenger footwell to gain access to constant 12 volt, switched 12 volt, and ground.
