Finally finished the installation late last night. It was harder than I thought. Thanks to Kale for his recommendations. Also, the rest of the forum members. It turned out great.
Alpine 9807
2 pairs of Cdt 61's
Elemental Designs 12k.44
US Acoustics 4085
US Acoustics 600d
1 mile of speaker wire and cables.
Simply awesome, but I know they will sound better once I tweak everything out.
Is there a break in period for the CDT's? The sub came with a warning that it should be broken in for a week before driving it hard. I'm pushing 300 rms to the sub.
Awesome setup. Take away the second set of CDT's and the sub amp and you have nearly my exact setup (10" sub though with Alpine 7892). I have been waiting for my sub since 6/16/2003 when i ordered. Talked to Ben last week and it should arrive this week or early next.
Luckily the CDT's have been more then excellent in holding me over :D

How is the ED sub??
Thanks. I really cannot put the sub to words. I still have not pushed it as far as I would like.
ED enclosed warning with the sub, that I had to break in for at least one week before driving it hard  Ok, I admit setting off the neighbors car alarm last night :D

Re: Finished install with pics! (Michaeljh2000)
Nice job. Was it difficult to build that sub box?
How did you make the angled cuts in the end of the wood? I am specifically talking about where the angled front/middle screws to the short piece you have coming up from the bottom?

Sub box was not really difficult if you are ok with power tools. I just used a circular saw. For the cuts that were more than 45 degrees, I set the wood up vertically and held the saw free hand, cutting along the lines I had drawn. That part was difficult. As I built the box, I placed each piece in the cavity. Also, the cavity increased by 1/2" from botton to top and rear to front. Just take you time. Took me about 6 hours with about 70 screws and wood glue.
