Subwoofer
I've been told that in order to install a Subwoofer/Amp in my 2000 C5 that I need to get rid of all the stock Bose stuff. Is this a fact or just BS???

It's BS. You can tap the preamp outputs to the stock head unit. I just did it the other day. If you don't want to rip your car apart yourself you can have an installer do it. Just checked out all of your pics. Everything looks so bitchin'!!! How do I get one??? Would you be interested in doing a complete system for me?? I have to have my car in Bristol, TN the weekend of Aug, 22, 23. And then
Louisville and Bowling Green (Labor Day weekend). I could have my driver leave here early and let you have the car for a week or two. Is there someplace he could leave the hauler? Or, if that would be cutting it to close, drop it off on the way back to Los Angeles and I would fly down and pick it up when you are finished. Either way, I do want one of you boxes. Let me know where to send the money.

Hey Vinny,
With that sweet azz paint job, perhaps you can get creative with your stereo install. Heres a pic of what my buddy can do. This was my 01 vert before I traded to the 03 coupe, He starts on it next week. :cool:

Thanks for the compliment. You Ohio guys have a really bitchin' black fastback with silver flames running around back there. Saw it at the Super Nats in Canfield in May.
Where in the hell is Kettering??? I'm in Youngstown, Ohio at least once a month (Girlfriend lives there) but I have never heard of Kettering.....
Some guy from Texas that I met on the Forum is in the process of building me a Sub box and is hooking me up with a amp as we speak. My car has to be in Bristol, TN the weekend of the 22nd., then over to Louisville and Bowling Green Labor Day Weekend. After that it will be in Ohio for another show. Maybe I could hook up with your buddy while I'm in Ohio. If he would be interested in building me a system I could leave the car with him and have my driver fly back to LA until he is finished. Anyplace to park a car hauler until it is ready???
