Replacing the Bose
Pretty much want to stay with the stock stuff. Lost most of my hearing to the US Navy and like the exhaust note better than most music.
Any pointers? Grills? Speakers sources? Wiring routing? Wiring nightmares?? Any Goofy wiring plugs that aren't available unless you know McLellan??
Have taken apart most of the car apart and put it back together, to fix other things, so other than buying a few screws and some shielded wire I figure it is just time???

For anyone else who is new, and not an expert on these sorts of things;
-- 4x6 up front
-- 6x9 rear
-- The Dash grills seem to be no longer available from GM? Odd.
-- The rear deck plate that supports the Bose also is the factory support for stock 6x9.
-- The Bose rear grills can remain, but are not stock UM6 parts. These are available and look like the Bose door grills

I would not bother.... for some reason, I think the internal harnessing is different... and that would be a problem.
you can pull out the bose, install aftermarket, and keep everything looking stock, sounding better, and returnable to orginal.
