Problem with USX-4085 amp, WTF....
SETUP: 4channel USX-4085 amp. Channels 1+2 driving the front components. Channels 3+4 bridged to an elemental K series subwoofer (240 watts). Front HU preout running to channels 1+2 with HU crossover at 80 HPF. Subwoofer preout running to chanels 3+4 with HU crossever at 80 LPF. Amp settings are crossed over slightly higher (tough to gauge amp's scale and the HU crossover is much better anyway)
PROBLEM: Sub is getting signal from 1+2 somehow and is barely moving enough to hear. It sounds like its running off the HPF on the front channels. I can also unplug channel 3+4's RCA cables and the sub is still on so the signal is definately coming from 1+2. (again, i have to really listen to tell if its on or not at High HU volume). The speaker wire is properly bridged on Channels 3+4 by the way. There are NO input settings for where to get 3+4's signal from. (i.e 1+2 or individual signal, so I belive 3+4 are autonomous)
Front componenents are working fine but they are crossed somehow. i.e. left is right and right is left. I don't think i had this problem before (I replaced my old RCAs when i installed both sets this time around.) All connections are fine and the RCA's are correct on the HU. I checked twice.
On another note, when i was connecting the ground lead to the amp my scewdriver sparked when I brushed against the remote turn on lead. The car was off and the power cable for the amp was disconnected. Is it possible I messed up my 3+4 channels???? I'm so damn frustrated!!!:banghead: I bought the amp from Crutchfield so I should be able to get a new one, no hassle buit who knows what the turn around time is.

Your screwdriver should not have sparked when you brushed it up against ground & the remote-on lead if the system was off. The remote lead does not get power when the system is off.
Heres what I would do, disconnect everthing! Start over and one by one hook up each wire and test it. Some the things you mentioned do not make sense.
