Why not just run it straight to the battery since it is so close? That is what I am planning on doing in my 78.

Alright, I ran it to the battery. But for some reason it isn't working. It's going into protection mode. It's an old amp. I'm not sure why it's going into protection though. It says it can handle matching speaker impedance of 4-8 ohms. It's running (2) 4-ohm speakers, one off each channel, it's not over heated, speaker wires aren't shorted, ground isn't open, that's the only problems it lists if it goes into protection. Any ideas? Thanks
