I am having trouble with my Sony CDX-MP30 MP3 player. It only gives me problems when I try loading in a CD-RW done off nero 5 in MP3 Data format. All the songs play fine until the 38-40th song...then they start missing and kind of skipping. I've tried a number of different CD-RW's I have from one spool. They're burned at 4X max and are memorex brand. I have other CD-RW's that burn at a higher rate...but my DVD+RW only burns CD's at 12X max.
This radio is perfect in every way other than this little toothache.
Mine work fine for the most part, I get the odd songs that will work fine on one cd but not on another cd. Everything that I have ripped myself works fine, it is just some of the stuff that I have downloaded that seems flaky. Fortunately almost all of the music I listen to is stuff I have ripped myself.
I use Exact Audio Copy to rip my cd's at 192kbps CBR @ 44100 Hz.
I've also had troubles, but only when using the Memorex brand. Played fine on the burner, but nowhere else. I now use Fuji, now no problems... I had heard there was difficulty in using Memorex and not to use it, but I don't know why. Try burning another brand. :D
