I have an '02, and I'd like to replace my stock Bose CD Changer with an aftermarket unit but still keep the stock head unit...I'm having too many problems with the Bose CD Changer (doesn't play any CD-Rs, and even store bought CDs don't play clearly). :U
Anyway, does anyone have any info on which aftermarket CD Changers are the easiest to install on a C5 without much hassle (i.e. plug right in to the stock set-up) and which play/sound the best.
I would contact Tuan Le at TL electronics. The link is on the left, all the way down. He knows and sells the adapters you might need to replace the stock CD changer.
The Rockford Fosgate RFX8601 6 disc CD changer is the only one that will work with the stock head unit. E-mail me for the wiring instructions. You can find them on E-Bay for $60 to $100.
