It is my understanding that the Bose unit does NOT have RCA inputs, but would love to know for sure - without pulling the whole unit out to check. Does anyone have a picture of the back of one out of the car?
Thanks Mike, Thanks Conquer. I guess I was right about it not having the RCA jacks, but the product Mike found looks like a great solution. Many thanks.
hey--
if you don't have a cd changer, is the c5 pre-wired with the data cable?
And if so, where is it? I'd love to be able to add this converter without ripping my dash apart.
If your car doesn't have a changer, more than likely it will not have the cd-changer cable. However, you should check under the passenger footwell to make sure. Below is a picture of what the cable looks like. :)
I've heard that the cable is located in the back, and under the passanger's foot well. Is there any possibility that in my (non cd-changer equipped car) that the cable may be located in the rear? I'd hate to rip up carpet for no reason.

JMG2, you don't need to rip up any carpet. Just take off the fuse-box cover and look around there. :)
