Which model? I was just about to buy the Hifonics zx8000 but, found a stray dog and took him to the vet, pet deposit, toys, etc so amp money gone. :D I'm still going to buy it, but will be a couple of weeks. I have heard really good things about Hifonics.

The specs look good. I do have a couple of questions.
Where did you get it?
Does it have direct power connections?
Is you IDMAX 2ohm DVC to get the full 750 watts?
Are you going to match up another HiFonics for your components?
What about your ARC amps?

im currently using y ARC2100 bridged to provide 400watts to the IDMAX
and m using my 2050 to provide 50x2 to my cdt's
after the hifonics,
ill have my arc 2100 at 115x2 to my CDT's
and the Hifonics at 750x1 to IDMAX (wired at 1ohm)
the 2050 will be shelved.

im not worried about matching amps... if i was, id end up spending $800 on the ARC 1500DR.. ouch.
This was $300 shipped.
The amps are under my seats anyway.

hmmn, my coworker who has two IDMAX's at 750 each just unhooked one and let me listen toi t.. I think im going to be very happy.
his bass is crazy. Where mine thumped and it felt like you were getting kicked, when his subs hit... it HURT.
