Another C5 Install Question
Installing my new headunit this weekend and was wondering if there is a wire to tap into that will keep the stereo on after I shut off the car, until the door is opened. I like that feature but wasn't sure if it was controlled by the bcm.

I think it is controlled by the BCM. I tapped the wire thats on the passenger floor board (see V1 install in tech tips) so the radio turns off with the key in ACC mode.

:nonod: That was the only feature I liked about the stock Bose system. Top Down Tech is suppose to be creating an enhanced Window Valet that will acheive this feature with aftermarket HUs. Don't know when it will be available though.
That's what I thought, oh well, sometimes you have to give up little things to gain some others that are more important.
