If you want to stick with JL, I'd treat that stealth box to a JL10W6v2. I'm not sure if the specs for the box will allow it though.

A JL10W6 or JL10W6AE (they are the same) will drop right in.

They are the same. They have discontinued the 10w6, but you might be able to find one on eBay. The "AE" stands for Anniversary Edition.

OMG, I have to comment on your vette first. AWESOME!!! the wheels make it stand above the crowd. I've been studying this very issue for some time now and the conclusion I've come to is if you want to be heard from a mile away, the jl audio W7 series is the way to go, if you want deep bass and sound quality without offending everyone at the stoplight, the W2V2 10" or 12" are perfect, you'll have to tune the awesome 500/1 down though. Some advice.....your going to have compatability issues and need adapters and all kinds of b.s. to get the stock sucky bose HU to work with it, bite the bullet now and start with a good aftermarket HU, amp and door speakers, you won't waste your money trying to get the bose hu to satisy you. Sorry for being long winded....once again, AWESOME vert! :steering:

I believe the w3 and w6 series were always 6-ohm subs. the 500/1 will easily handle that sub.

for wiring options go here: http://www.jlaudio.com/tutorials/wiring/index.html

:withstupid: The w3v2 you bought is the one that comes stock in the stealthbox. Wire the voice coils in parallel for a 3 ohm load and that jl500/1 will send its total 500 watts to the sub.
