So I have a 2 way? I have just the CDT ES520's up front, and the sub in the rear. But the reason I asked is because when I was messing around with the iPersonalize feature, they have it as 2way with 2 speakers up front, 2 in the rear, and the sub. Where as, the 3way is 2tweets, 2 mids, and a sub in the rear.

yeah, 2 way.
some alpine units allow you to set 2 crossover points for the rear speakers
ie, you could say
front output: crossover 300hz
run your CDT ES
then use rear output 80-300hz high and low pass, and add 8" midbass speakers up front.
if your hu is like mine, you can adjust each output by -12db. Pretty friggin cool.
