New install........
I thought I would post this here also since some members don't read c5 general......
This one took me a while to gather up all the parts I needed. I purchased a few at a time from here and there until I had everything. I wasn't very impressed with the bose so I decided to replace it all. I chose the Pioneer so that I could plug up my xm receiver and control it directly from the hu. So far I really like it and the sound is so much better. I had already added an amp and a sub in the rear center compartment earlier this year. I think that the sub also sounds better running off a sub pre-out on the radio. Maybe soon I will add the navigation addon.

The hu is the p6500dvd and the install kit was made by forum member vrumvrum. He makes them on a cnc and then powdercoats it when finished. :steering:
