Cool Sub Box for Outer Storage Compartment

Tight bass that is boosted by the rear hatch
This is a JL 8W3 that will play nicely down to 30HZ and present a 3 ohm load to your amp of choice. 150-200 Watts is PLENTY
Has a steel reinforced grill so you can put your cargo right on top of the driver without worrying about damage.

It gave a nice thump in the seat. Not LOUD like a 10, but a presence. I combined this with Dynaudio 7" door midbasses - so the bottom end was handled nicely all around.

How would your sub setup play in a convertible? Can you install 1 in each side compartment? Note - convertible has 2 side + the center compartment (I am not familiar with coupes). Was thinking the dual side compartments might make up for the lack of a single 10" sub.

You could definitely go 2 8"s one in each side. With a Vert, you need to move a lot of air since you are losing the pressurization affect of an enclosed car.
I would probably still recommend a 10 or 12 in the center well.
