1984 Bose head unit and amp problem.
The LF speaker was not working so I took it apart and replaced the main capacitors. I reinstalled it only to discover that it would only play if the volume was turned up past half way. This was an improvement but not quite the desired effect. I pluged the unit into the LR and it played perfectly through the whole volume range. Does this mean my Head unit is damged? And if it is can some one help me out with some suggestions on fixing it myself?
