Default Winter Mods - Shaved Door Handles

Thought some of you might like to see this.

Shaved the door handles and antenna...

This is the guts inside the left front fender. I've got both doors, the gas door, the neons and the strobes all working from an additional keyfob remote.

Here's the actuator in the right door.

Here's the emergency manual cable release and a push button release inside the left wheel well.

looks great except for this

I'm not dissing you or anything, but when I do blend work, I always fade the primer out so there is no edge. i hope you wetsand a TON with 400 to get that all down. the body work looks straight as an arrow which is what I like to see, I'm just not liking the primer lines.

good luck

(I'll personally inspect that at CI5 ;) )

Corz - this pic was taken when I first started the project. Since then the door has been blocked with 120, primed, blocked again with 220 and primed again. It's been sanded now with 400 and ready for paint.

Hope it passes inspection :jester

bogus - new black for the whole car with a little airbrush work

Yep, the only thing left on mine right now is the hood, trunk lid, 1 door and rear bumper. It's the only way to do them and do them right.
