Hi, I`ve got an 86 Z51 Auto with the Delco Bose setup. I don`t use the radio loads but i really couldn`t be bothered with the hassle and quality of cassete tapes. Unfortunately i don`t have like 500 bucks for a nice new CD setup, cos i got other stuff i need to spend on the car - and also I thought some of the real modern units look a bit odd in place of the old Delco.
So, as i didn`t already have an MP3 player i thought i`d try this Dualplay MP3 player that`s been advertised - which actually slots in where ur cassette goes without any extra adaptors etc.
I thought it might be a gimmic but had nothing to loose as I could just use it as a normal MP3 anyway - but I`m pleased to say it actually works gr8 in my Delco :)
Obviously it isn`t anything like the sound wuld be with a top cd player and new amp and speakers etc. but as a quick cheap fix it`s ideal and sounds way better than a tape - and I get to keep the interior looking original.
