Default C4 sub box building question...

I have a 1993 with an aftermarket system. Currently it has 2 10's in a prefabed box that are on their way out. I have a Kicker XPL 12 that came out of my GTA. The suggested box volume is 1 - 1.5 cubic foot. Should i mount the sub to fire forward, backward, up down? Any advantages in doing it any specific way in the Vette? I had it firing backwards in the GTA and it sounded great. I will be using 3/4" MDF, any comments, or suggestions are welcome. Posts pics if you have any.

TIA,

Dave

I mounted the same way. But before I did this I had a Q-Box and I tried the various positions -- but they all sounded the same to me. With the current position facing up (closed), the sound is far superior to the Q-Box.
