Image Dynamics excursion video.
This is at about 90% of full amplifier power. I don't take the sub past there, because sometimes it sounds like the sub taps the grill. My ears start to hurt at 50% power.

You can tell it isnt at full excursion because the surround isn't dimpling. (Something a surround of that shape does.)

Shortly after I ordered it, I found out they sell it in black, too. DOH.
Once I find all the parts to my airbrush, I'm going to give it a gunmetal finish.
Hard to get a good video of it, though. The sub shakes the living crap out of the camera. :rofl:
You cant see it from the video, but the slot port is right next to the sub. It kept sucking in the camera strap. :lolg:

Actually, its a Brutus amp.
Whats wrong with the grill? Its a simple bar grill, designed for deep excursion subs.
The dent showed up about a week after I got it.... some idmaxes develop dimples. no idea why. :confused:

I like the grill. In fact, I just picked one up for myself and one for a friend's install this weekend. We got the black one though of course.

I need to find some similar to those for my kick-panel speakers, one of my Infinity grills already got pushed in. :banghead:
