Dorr mounting brackets
I am looking to replace the door speakers. I have seen pictures of mounting brackets for new speakers. Do I need these brackets to install after market door speakers and does anyone have any suggestions on door speakers.
I want to keep the factory stereo and amp the speakers.

I was informed that if you want better quality speakers you will need to amp the speakers because the factory unit will not drive the new speakers.

The factory speakers already have amplifiers. If you want to replace the speakers you have to use something to mount the speakers to. If you are going to add an amp and speakers to your system you are better off changing the head unit also. It can be done with the factory unit but you are MUCH better off not using it. IM me if you are interested in some mounts for the speakers.
