I've pretty much decided on alpine head unit, focal components up front, and jl subs in the rear. I'm trying to decide on either 1 big 4 channel or 2 smaller 2 channel amplifiers. The question is; how much harder is it gonna be to install an extra amp or is it? Also, where do you guys ground the amps to? Also, how hard is it to run some 4 gauge. Does it fit under the rocker panel or do you go under theseat to get to the back.. Thanks for the help,.. This is my first corvette so I'm learning. I've done a bunch of systems in camaro/firebirds, just no vettes..

Also, where do you guys ground the amps to? Grounded mine back at the battery, however the bulkhead is a good ground too if you grind away the paint
Also, how hard is it to run some 4 gauge. I have 0 guage wire under my rocker panel. 4 guage would be no issue

I just installed a system in my FRC, so same trunk style... There are some pictures of my box containing the JL 8W7 and JL 500/5 amplifier that powers the sub, front Focal components, JL rear fill speakers. I am running an Alpine 9815 head unit. I am very pleased with how it sounds... It has excellent sound quality, and a very "full" sound. It hits plenty hard for me, I listen to Tool, system of a down, hard rock, metal, etc...... So the sealed box is perfect for my music taste.
