CD Changer malfunctioning
I have a 12 changer CD in the trunk of my 1997 Corvette. When the magazine is loaded, the disk icon comes up on the radios LED display on the head unit. The problem is when you push the tape/aux button which is supposed to activate the CD player in the trunk, nothing happens. I have bypassed the cassette player as you're supposed to. Finally, the CD changer did work for over three years. The make is delco electronics.

I know on my 12 disk changer I have to let the CD "load" first before I start the car. After loading, turn the key to the on position, without starting and wait for the "CD" lite/symbol to stop flashing on the control head. Once it stops flashing, you should be good to go.
