Infinity Kappa or Kenwood Excilons
I went from Kenwood Excilons to Infinity Kappas in my purchase decision.. Now I don't know .. Which is best? I did not want seperates so didn't go with MB Quartz, for example.... Anyone have either of the above? and how do u like them? Guess I should've asked b4 purchasing, LOL

MB Quarts makes "regular" coaxial speakers. The Discus series are inexpensive and quite detailed. The Kappas you have are alright. The tweets are bright and lively, but can begin to "slurr" at high volumes. The mid range is acceptable. The mid bass is quite "flat".

Thanks. I don't want to spend $300 on these speakers, but if I can get something better than the Kappa, I will.

I personally haven't heard the new Kenwoods but I've own two sets in the past and both sets 
I use Infinity in both my Corvette and my home theater. I have MB Quart/JL Audio in my red Talon and Focal/Image Dynamics in my white Talon. I like them all and would recommend them. There are many good and bad speakers for sale, buy the ones that sound best to you.

Thanks, I ended up getting Kappas all around (components front, and 5" in the back)... have to do the amp though, they sound like poopiez with just the radio sending power (Alpine 9830)
