This amp seems ideal. Does the amp provide enough power to push a set of component speakers in the doors and a single 10" sub? The more I research the more I think the dual component with a 10" is the set up I will go with. I would like to do it with one amp if possible, but I do not want to compromise the sound. I do not need thumping base, just crisp sound.
3-channel amps are becomming more common. It looks like this one puts out about 70x2 for the comps and 420x1 for the sub. Depending on the comps you choose and the sub, it will get the job done.
Just for reference I'm running my MB quart comps at 125x2 and 535x1 watts for the sub. Be sure to buy a dual 4 ohm sub to wire it at a 2 ohm load to get the most you can from this amp.
Which MB Quart components are you using and which to you recommend? These components seem highly recommended. I will be honest, I do not know much about component speakers. I would like to get something of good quality, but I do not need show quality. I want good crisp sound, but don't need the most expensive things out there. But I also do not want lack of quality to go cheap. I want good speakers.

How do you like your steak cooked? Do you prefer blonds or brunettes? These are hard questions for me to answer for you.
But in general, you will have to decide what kind of music you like to listen to, how you like that music to sound, what volume you will be playing it at, and what limitations you may have based on the equipment you are considering. For example, you amp may not have enough juice to run a super high quality set of components, or you may have a convertible and would need to beef up your total wattage and sub to overcome windnoise and lack of an enclosed space.
