C4 power drain

C4 power drain
Water in the passenger side of my 93 vert has apparently shorted something in the system. Now, the radio unit is off but continues to power the right side speaker, draining the battery overnight. It will not turn off or on and cannot be shut down without pulling a fuse. I'm looking for the fuse. The manual doesn't help. Anyone know which fuse powers the radio in a 93, so I can at least turn the entire unit off and save the battery.

It sounds like you have water in one of the relays. How much water got into the interior and what was its path?
The manual says Auxiliary Fuse Block #2, RDO fuse, 10 Amp.
That sounds like it's under the passenger side hush panel (knee bolster). I believe you'll find the relays there also.

I don't know the path yet. There was a fair amount of water, above the carpet on the passenger side. I'll look for the fuse. Didn't see one referenced in the end panel fuse block in the manual. All I found was a reference to an in-line hidden somewhere up under the dash. Appreciate the info. I'll look tonight. Thanks.

There are 2 fuse blocks under the hood, near the battery. I forgot which has the battery fuse, but I could have sworn it was in the end panel in the car.

Problem temporaarily solved. On the end fuse panel there are two 5 amp fuses labeled RDO BAT and RDO IGN. Pulling them both kills the power to the radio and the key fob receiver. The electric door locks won't work from the outside but do work through the door switch from the inside. Not the best solution but it did solve the power drain until I can track down the leak and the short. Just thought somebody would want to know since the manual is none too clear.
