Help with stereo system components
I am looking to upgrade the Bose system in my 99 coupe. I talked with a shop today but I didn't have my car so the cost with custom work (boxes, amp rack) is not known but he gaurantees less than $3000 (probably low to mid $2Ks) for everything (components, wires, brackets, etc) out the door. What do you guys think about the following items?
Amps: 2 (1 for subs, 1 for fronts) ARC Audio 1500XXK
HU: Eclipse CD3434
Door Speakers: Morel 6.5" 3-ways
Subs: 2 x 10" (house designed and backed - they hit)
If I decide to install rear speakers they will be powered by the HU. I have never heard of the ARC Audio or Morel lines, but the owner is a friend of a friend and I have seen some bad a$$ systems from them. I could get the stereo parts and install myself to save some $$, but I don't really have the time (or desire) right now. I almost forgot he is going to tint the windows (20% around) in this deal too.
