Maybe acrylic foam tape will help. When applied properly, it sticks like sheet to a blanket.
I made one for mine. Different year, but works very well and doesn't fall off

I have been looking for something similar. But I was looking for something like a "C" that would clip around the backside of the mirror and have the radar detector hang right underneath the mirror.

Is it the one from Great Lakes Trophies? I got one of those the other day (since I live down the street from them). I had trouble getting it to stick as well. I sanded the contact surfact flat and used the superglue gel. After I figured out how to fit it properly, it stayed in place. It's been 3 weeks now with no problem.

Try Gorilla Glue sold at Home Depot...

I used it on a few things (metal included) and it is still holding...

Cheers!

Mine has a real tight fit,no tape or foam would go in the space and the head of the holder. It will sit up there by it self(no radar) I will try the gorilla glue next.
Thanks Guys
