Does anyone know if XM Radio can be added to the stock head unit
(1SB Audio System) if it was not ordered from the factory. In other words is the stock head unit XM ready....

No way. XM was still getting fired up in 2001?? I've got XM with ALPINE AI net. I like having the controls in the HU and not in an extra box.
The only way you'll be able to keep the stock HU is to use the FM transmitter technology. However,,,, check out Pewter99's post for XM commander.
