From: Why are there squished peanut butter cups in my underware?
I just installed it on my `91 coupe.
I placed the antenna next to the front defrost vents under the windshield, (I used velcro since the antenna is magnetic) and ran the wire under the glove box to the receiver (which I placed in the center storage compartment).

On the receiver is a signal strength indicator. Its getting the same strength sitting on the dash as it was when I set it on the rear hatch durring activation.
mounting the antenna is not my concern, it seems the majority of the members that have satellite radio mount the antenna in the rear fascia near the tail lights.
my major concern is finding a Sirius receiver that will fit in the ashtray area (like the XM commander) so that it can be kept out of sight. The last thing that I will do is mount a receiver on my dash, or console.
I installed my sirius streamer in the compartment behind the driver seat, purchased a remote laser eye & installed it hidden in the vent louvers, cut the tail off the antenna & installed right up to the windshield in the center of the dash. It all works great with the Sirius remote & is invisible except for the head of the antenna on the dash.
