Cd Player cuts out

Cd Player cuts out
I have to delco/bose unit in my 95 and sometimes the cd player wil cut out and I will get a beeping noise through the speakers
Do I need to replace the head unit or is this something stupid that can be easly fixed.

Sounds like the system needs R&R. I recommend Dr. Don.
