can you hide it behind the front lic. plate cover or does it need to be visible?

It needs a line of sight to the police LIDAR gun.

You could remove the Z06 screens and use C5 plastic covers and cutout spots for the laser devices.

Our C5s are hard to get with a laser since they need a near flat surface to reflect the laser off of. That's why the police aim at the lic. plate. I personnaly got hit with a laser (my detector told me so) and I was doing about 82 in a 60. He never came and got me so I figure he did not get a reading. IMO, get a clear lic. plate cover (Mid America has them) and mount the defusers on the rim of the lic. plate or the area around the plate. The system you have is major $ and this way you get your best defense and will be protected from the elements (bugs, rocks, etc)

You need to install them as close to your license plate as possible. The police usually aim the laser at the plate, so I am thinking that you could install them in the front fascia brake cooling intakes. Makes sense if they fit and still leaves room for air to flow.

What about plates that only need to be fitted on the back..as in FL?
