But they sound great for what they are, and easy to add, all models come with line level inputs, that you can just wire into your stock speakers for an audio signal. I suggest the 8" 200 watt model. It comes with a 2x50 watt amp also in addition to the 100 watt amp for the sub. That way, you can easily upgrade to some bose replacements if you want to at some time, and you'll already have some extra horsepower.
Infinity Basslink

Clear Version

Black Version
This has a 10" driver and a Class D amplifier built right it, with 200 watts. Lots of people like these guys. Price : Used around $120 new $200-300. Has line level inputs as well, can just hook up directly to your existing Bose crap for an audio signal. Infinity makes an even larger version, with 2 passive radiators, but will not fit in the trunk of a vette, as it measures out to be 42" wide. Just a bit too big.
Welp, thats my suggestions, if you just want to buy a box/amp combo.

Anyways, sounded terrible, barely any bass output, a stock C4 bose system would out-do it
The infinity basslink or bazooka system works well... but... the best sub for a C4 ever is a polk mobile monitor C4 sub box... Will post pics soon

The Bass signal is NOT present at the twiddlers in a C5
I have a 6" BTA6100 100W Bazooka in my '01 coupe that I tried to wire up like that, but it won't work. You must either run wires from the stock bass speakers in the doors or get an adapter to put behind the head unit that separates the full signal before the Bose amps get ahold of it.
Check out this post of mine from a few months ago for some more info.
