I absolutly agree that AA is much higher quality, and I wish they did there own version but since Action has the rights to #3

Probably has something to do with Dale's daughter being a VP at Action...

I have two of the Action pre race #3's that I purchased at the Rolex last year that I am going to sell, with some of the Rolex Corvette documentation. The quality of the Action cars is not as dismal as some would make you believe, although not the best. I have noticed a quality differential in their NASCAR 1:24's.

Earnhardt(s) are/is supposedly a large shareholder in Action, (if I remember correctly, he sold his diecast business to Action) thus the exclusivity on the #3 ride.

I am going to sell each one packaged with a #3 poster, 2001 24 Hour Rolex ticket and pin from the 2001 race on Ebay. Havent decided on my reserve yet.
