Does anyone do anything with the driver's side vent? My LS2 has a rubber vac cap over it. I've always wondered why the pass head is vented but the driver's side is not?

Some people T it with the pass side and run a second can.

How do you hook up the catch can with the breather? Since there is only 1 line. I'm torn between the normal catch can and the one with the breather.

You hook up the valley pan line (PCV) to the side of the can.

Plug off the return on the manifold

I want one of these but just had a hard time getting smogged in CA.

Do these have a CA CARB (California Air Resourses Board) number?

No,

They actually reduce emissions output

Out of the Hundreds we have sold in CA, no one has ever had a problem.

If you do, it would take less than5 minutes to take off.

Oil Catch Cans are not location specific parts. They do not have to be
mounted on the passenger side Head.

We often get asked where is a good alternate mounting spot.

Corvette Forum Member SFL driver has provided these pictures
of his oil catch can mounted on the radiator shroud

Thanks for the pics Brandon

Perfect - Just ordered a red one - guaranteed two seconds off lap time! I also installed the CCA pedals just before my last HPDE. They worked great, much better traction than the stock z06 pedals.

- From the PCV Valve to the top of the can.

- block off the return nipple on the the manifold

- from the side of the can re-route the retun line to the low pressure side of the supercharger.

Most people up a 3/8 nipple on the air filter housing and run the
return line there.

Regards
Chip

Thanks for the response.

I have an 04 Z06 with a maggie that I track.

Would the routing be the same as what you described above?
