I'm not a wheel expert, So others may know more about this than me. So feel free to correct me, But when SSR made these Type C wheels years ago they used a technology called "SSF Techlology". It uses a different process for forging than a true monoblock forged wheel that's cut out of a large piece of billet. However I think that these are still considered a forged monoblock wheel. Again, Not trying to argue, I'd like my sale of this particular set of wheels to be as transparent as possible. So if they are not considered a "true forged monoblock" that I can change my add for sure.
Below is the information directly from SSR's website for their 1 piece construction wheels:
"SSR one piece wheels are seamless, precise, light-weight, and strong. SSR manufactures all one piece wheels with SSF technology. SSR starts with an MHD (Magneto-Hydro Dynamics) billet piece of aluminum which is heated to a semi-solid semi-molten state. The material is then pressed in through the SSF machine at an extremely high rate creating the wheel. It is then cooled down and cleaned via air gun. The wheels are thoroughly inspected for imperfections and are sent to the painting process."

SSR Type-C's are 1 piece construction, The Type-C RS is a welded two piece construction. Maybe that is what you are referring to. Essentially the same looking wheel, just has its slight differences.
I’m referring to the Type-CH. here is a picture of my own wheels where you can see the label and the weld on the barrel.
A picture would clear it up pretty quick and I’d be interested to see their current state anyways. Not trying to poo poo your thread just trying to clear things up.

I Agree, A picture will totally help. I wasn't thinking you were trying to **** on my thread, As I said, I'm not expert, So i'm more than fine with it.
I will take a picture of all the insides of all the wheels when I get a chance and see. I've pieced this set of 4 wheels together myself to get the specs I needed. And for some reason thinking back now If i recall correctly I believe one of the rear wheels may in fact be a Type C RS wheel as I remember seeing welds on the inner barrel.
Here are inner barrel pictures of all my 4 wheels individually. The rear two wheels appear to be welded 2 piece construction, while the front two wheels are monoblock 1 piece construction.
So as of right now would appear that I have a set of Type-C/ Type-C RS wheels.
Thanks to "work_truck" for bringing this to my attention.
Still for sale, would like to get these sold. BUMP!
Or those welds on those rear rims could be from the widening processes you noted above that was done by a custom wheel shop.
The welds your referring to are not welds from Weld Craft. They are the original production welds from SSR. Weld Craft widens the wheels halfway through the inner barrel. So as previously stated, the rear two wheels have been confirmed "Type-C RS's" with the help from some other forums members here.

Okay cool - glad you got them properly identified.
Love those rims, had a few sets myself on other cars. GLWS!
