Rare opportunity to purchase these unused, custom built Calzone ATA Tool Chest Cases. Perfect for a small race team or garage storage.

These cases have a really cool pedigree. They were originally designed and built by Calzone cases for Airforce Materials Command at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base to be used for aviation mechanics' electronics and test equipment. They were purchased by the USAF, but never used. They got warehoused and forgotten. We acquired them, cleaned them up, and fully tested them. They are in excellent cosmetic and working condition!

Condition is a 9 out of 10! There may be some minor blemishes or scuffs on the aluminum extrusions from shipping, but otherwise they are in perfect condition.

Originally these sold for ~$4,000.00 per case. I am selling them for $1,500 per case, OBO. For multiple cases, contact me for an even bigger discount.

• External Case Dimensions are 41" H (with wheels) 35.5" H (without wheels), 25.75" D, 30.5" W
• Locking ATA Case Latches with (1) set of keys
• (8) Drawers with individually keyed locks. Each drawer measures 17.75" W x 16" L x 3.25" D.
• Each Drawer has (1) RJ45 Network Jack, and is wired with CAT6 cables and terminated with RJ45 Male plug through back of rack
• Each Drawer has (1) NEMA 5-15R cord end for charging electronic devices stored in drawers. Drawer Power Cords are on pigtails that go to a 15 Amp Power Distribution Unit mounted inside the rear access door. The PDU has a 10' long cord and a NEMA 5-15P cord end
• All Drawers are fitted out with brand new 1.5" thick carvable tool foam. You can create the perfect custom layout for your own tools sets
• (1) Front access storage compartment, with individual locks, measuring 31" H x 4.5" W

• (1) Rear access storage compartment with sideways mounted (2) RU Rack Rails 19" W for Network Switch or Power distribution
• Includes (1) Set of Master Keys that open all locks inside the ATA Case
• Removeable Heavy Duty, Locking, Urethane Non-Marking Casters with Brakes
• Cases can be stacked and have male stacking feet on the bottom and female receivers on top
• Spring Loaded Handles and Tie Down Rings on all (4) Case Sides
• ATA Cases exterior has (1) Breather Valve to equalize pressure from altitude changes
• Rack is cooled by (4) AC Infinity Cooling Fans and Digital Thermal Controller mounted on rear rack door
• All Keys come with color coded labeled key rings. When you receive your ATA case, the technical access panel keys will be in the purple canister and the drawer keys will be in the green canister as shown in the photos. Both canisters will be in Drawer #1.

Delivery is free within 30 miles of Ashburn, VA, or you can pick-up. Please Note: For all shipping over 30 miles, the Shipping Weight is ~220 Lbs and they will be cartoned and shipped on pallets to protect them. They are really cool. I am using a couple myself. I made a 96" butcher block top to span two of them. It rests on the nesting pegs. I can use it as a workbench when needed and then lift the top off and roll the cases back against the wall when finished.

When we are traveling, I can roll them right up into my trailer.
