I would have the roof stripe the same width as the back of the hood, doesn't really look right in the pic.
I agree with Tom on the headlights, leave 'em blue or grey. and I do like the darker blue/orange in your avitar and on your site much better than this blue. (unless the Cub Scouts are sponsoring you this year)
Good luck and keep the updates coming. I am envious of what you're doing.
I think the stripes look good as they are. The problem is if you used the width at the back of the hood for the roof you would end up with a roof that was almost entirely yellow. Not sure how that would look. I like the yellow headlights in your avitar but not in the pic on this thread. The difference: they look a bit too bright in the pic you posted. Actually the entire car looks a little bright. Maybe if you used a flat low gloss paint or a darker yellow just for the headlights it would look a little mor subtle. Overall, I like it.

How about widen the roof stripe to the width of the hood opening. Make the hood stripe the same width. Leave the opening yellow and end the stripe in a point just below the c5 logo.
the blue is not a dark as I had originally thought, but won't be changed now.
So you guys would widen the roof stripe, irregardless of the "lines" molded into the roof? I think I agree, but normally like to follow the natural lines of the car. I think GM screwed up by not keeping the lines more even.
I agree about the headlights too, just wanted to see a reaction. Our headlights are modular (not sealed like the OEMs) so I will probably do silver or black.
THAT looks great!! Are you painting the rear fascia in yellow like the avatar pic??
Have you thought about yellow wheels? Might be a bit too much yellow but the car would certainly stand out. Especially when you cross the finish line in 1st place

Normally I agree, but the wider stripe does look better, as does the darker headlights.
I like the wide roof stripe.
lets take a hint from the GM Grand Sport Playbook:
THe GS Skunk stripe is a ittle wider then 19" at the back of the hood and the roof stripe is tad more then 17" on the leading edge.
If the GS stripe proportion looks right to you then that is a que *I* would work with.
You could also throw on a set of yellow hashmarks on the front left fender for the GS nod.
I also like black wheels for low maintainence on brake dust.

Yes, Kerry (ACP/Corvetteracebodies.com) was hired by GM to do the body. He has finished up most of the body panels, and is getting to work on the wing and undertray. There should be 3 of the C6 World Challenge cars at Sebring, and I hope to join the part at Atlanta.
