Title says it all. Anyone have a Camera mount for a video camera? I would prefer a nice one with the bushings to keep vibration down.
Please let me know what you have. Also I preffer a local sale..Chicago area.
Thanks,
Sam.
i have one but havent used it yet (havent gotten around to actually buying a camera yet, lol)....its definitely a nice/sturdy piece...i bought one of the size specific (closeout) mounts....
i've also heard good things about I/O port mounts but don't have any experience with it either....
sigh, i guess i'm not really much help here, sorry
I've got the I-O Port camera mount and it works well. Check with Discoveryparts.com or some other like supplier and you'll probably get it for less than $100.
I picked up a bullet cam (size of a tube of lipstick) - and record to my digital video camera. The cam is mounted to one of the sunvisor brackets - eliminates the shoulder/steering wheel shots most of the camera mounts result in, plus you hardly notice it's there.
Yes, I made a few passes at 140 plus with the camera, I dont really get any issues with wind, your not talkign about with the roof panel off are you?
No, not with the roof panel out, but with both the passenger and driver windows down. I've noticed on my I/O port mount, as solid as it is, I can sometimes get vibration on tape.
