Spring rate conversion formula?
I've been trying to come up with a formula to convert srping rates from Newtons per mm to Pounds per inch. I've been trying N/.2248089=lbs. The .2248089 being the newton to pound conversion. Any racers who work with both? any help greatly appreciated.

don't you have two conversions to make N to Lbs and mm to Inch?
25.4mm=1"
.2248089= 1N
1 newton/square millimeter = 145.037738 pound/square inch [absolute]

You gave the conversion for pressure, the correct one for spring rates is 1 N/mm=5.7101 LB(force)/in.

I have used: ( N/mm / 0.175 = lb/inch ) to convert spring rates, got that from another forum member awhile back.
