Luc Alphand Aventures will be fielding a Chevrolet Corvette in the 2006 Le Mans Series Season (http://www.lmes.net/uk/index.asp). The team owned by famous Olympic skier, Luc Alphand, will also submit an entry to the 2006 24 Hours of Le Mans. Alphand will join fellow Frenchman David Halliday and Jerome Policand to share the driving duties. The team previously campaigned a Porsche in the 24 hour endro, but did also compete in the GT1 category in 2003 with a CARE Racing Ferrari 550 Maranello. It is unknown whether the Corvette will be a C6.R or an older C5-R although the render makes it look like the newest generation Vette. Pratt and Miller only have two C6.R examples to sell and many teams have put in bids for the 2005 American Le Mans Series Championship winning machines.
