So if you can help me with pricing and things I forgot that would be great.

First off I would like to list off some of the Forum sponsors that take there time to respond to our questions and help us more than they know. I'm going to list there websites next to them for those of you that have trouble finding them <---- over there. As well as a person to contact at each business
Hardbar http://www.hardbar.net Gary
Doug Rippie Motorsport or DRM http://www.dougrippie.com/ Randy
LG Motorsports http://www.lgmotorsports.com/catalog/index.php Lou
R&D Racing http://www.r-dracing.com
Motor Sport Image http://www.motorsportimage.com Mark
Pfadt Race Engineering http://www.pfadtracing.com/ Aaron

Help these guys out when you can because they help us even though they don't have to.

Driving Schools I know it's not a "part" but it's the best "mod" you can do.
Spring Mountian - Located just outside of Las Vagas -they have many different classes so here is there website.
http://www.springmountianmotorsports.com
Bob Bondurant - Located in Pheonix - they also have many different classes.
N.A.S.A. - They are one of the more popular HPDE groups out there and they also do a good job teaching you drive your car. There are too many regions to list so here is there website.
http://nasaproracing.com
We also have a few of our forum members that will help in instructing the first one is
National Corvette Museum Performance Driving School here is a link for more info, hopefully we can have one of these every year.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...ls&forum_id=23
Next is the LG Advanced Driving School and you can get ifo off of this tread.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...ls&forum_id=23

If there are any others that are reccommended I will add them as you give them to me.

ALL PRICES ARE ESTIMATED SO DON'T TAKE THIS TO A VENDOR AND EXPECT THAT PRICE

SAFETY

Helmets - there are too many to list but some good brands are
Bell
Simpson
Arai
G-Force
Make sure the helmet has at least a Snell SA05 rating that way it will be good for at least the next 9 years. Avoid M rated helemts, the M is for motorcycle. They are not designed for multiple impacts whereas the SA helmets are. They also do not have a Nomex fire proof liner which will help you in case of a fire.

Harness's
Hardbar - has a set-up but I couldn't find info or pricing so if someone could help me out that would be great
R&D Racing - $40 for mounting hardware (2 seats) and $140 per harness (G-force)
Brey - Krause - $140 for mounting hardware (2 seats) but the harnesses are removable. $300 per harness (Schroth or Sabelt)
Crowe 6 point (for Brey-Krause clip in) $150

Harness Bars
Hardbar $?
R&D Racing $350 with camera mount
Brey - Krause $410 (camera mount $150 extra)
Arizona Speed and Marine $345 (? camera mount)

Seats
Corbeau - need a little help with what seats fit and pricing
Sparco - I know the Evo and the Evo II (For fat guys) fit but again pricing?

Head and Neck Restaints
HANS - $900
Hutchens II - $?

Roll Bars / Cage
DRM - $500
Also here is a helpfull link to those installing a roll bar.

BRAKES

Pads
Wilwood - H, J or E's are popular.
The J is apparently going to be fazed out by the newer H compound but these are all out pads where as the E's are more of a autocross/light braking pad.
H's or J's run $200 Front and $160 rear

Performance Friction - 01 compound all around or run 01 in front and 99 in the rear for some brake bias.
01 Front $250 01 Rear $240 99 Rear $170

Carbo Tech - Couldn't find pricing but popular combos are 11 F and 10 R or 10 F and 8 R.

Hawk - I know that the new DTC-70 compound has been getting some good press but I have no pricing info.

Rotors
Forget the slotting or crossdrilling if you plan to go to the track stick with plane jane rotors you'll last longer.
NAPA - Most popular plus you can find them everywhere for around $20 each.
86700
86701
86702
86703
Stock GM Rotors - it's what your car came with and you will get a little longer life out of them but at $75 to $80 per rotor you better get 4 times the life out of them.
Wilwood Rotor Upgrade - This "upgrade" is 2 piece rotors, pads and stainless steel lines. The rotors have to be saftey wired and it is expensive. $850 for the front $480 for the rear.
Stoptech Rotor upgrade - I was hoping that John may have some info for me here.
Also here is a great tread about the famous rotor cracking
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...rs&forum_id=23
Brake Fluid
Castrol SRF - the most expensive and the best $80 per 32 oz bottle but it will last you all year
Motul - widely available $16 per 16 oz
ATE Super Blue / Type 200 - $10 - $15 per liter
Wilwood EXP 600 - $20 per 500mL
Wilwood Hi Temp 570 - $8 per 12 oz DOT 3 but good for cheap fluid
Ford HD - this Super Duty fluid is good if you in a pinch or can't find brand name stuff around. $12 per 16 oz

Brake Cooling
DRM Ducts - $200 - almost a must
LG Spindle Ducts - $180 - ditto
Pheonix Spindle Ducts - $?
ACI Ducts - ?$

Stainless Lines
Earls (LG Motorsports) - $140
DRM - $140

Aftermarket Brake Kits
LG/Wilwood Front Kit - $1500 Great upgrade for the $. Kind of a happy medium between stock and all out Big Brake Kit.
StopTech from LG - $5000 all out Big Brake Kit
AP from DRM - $6500 all out Big Brake Kit
Wilwood - $4100 Good start but more of a show kit. There are alot of things in this kit that should be changed if your planning on going to the track.

Other
DRM master cylinder with Brake Bias adjustment - $600
DRM Stainless Steel caliper pistons - $140 (helps keep fluid from boiling)

SUSPENSION

Springs
Z51 Springs - $?
Z06 Springs - $600 F or R
T1 Springs - $?
Vette Brakes & Products - $540
(I couldn't find good pricing on any of the other springs, little help?)

Sway Bars
Z51 Sway bars - ?$
Z06 Sway bars - $335
T1 Sway Bars - $700 with end links (DRM or LG)
Vette Brakes & Broducts - $440
Pfadt adjustable sway bars in two different rates (standard Pfadt bars and Pfattys). - $790

Shocks
04 Z06 Shocks - $150 each
Saches T1 Shocks -$175 each
Bilstein - $80

End Links
Vette Brakes & Products - $150
Hotchkis -$230
GM Heavy Duty - $?

Aftermarket Suspension Systems
LG G2 Coil-Overs - $2200
DRM Coil-Overs - $1900
Pfadt Coil-Over - $1690
GM T1 Suspension Package - $3250
Vette Brakes & Products - $2000 (Springs, Shock and End Links)

ALIGNMENT

Standard -

Street/Track -

Track -
(I'm not sure I should have opened this can of worms but if we can find one for each of these or a range that would be helpful)

WHEELS AND TIRES

Wheels
A-mold (C4 17")
Z06 Wheels
CCW
Forgeline
HRE
(I don't have any wheel pricing what so ever)

Tires

Street Radials
Goodyear Supercar - $1200 (Z06) $990 (C5)
Goodyear F1 GS D3 - $950 (C5)
Michelin Pilot Sport 2 - $1225 (Z06) $950 (C5)
Kuhmo MX - $630 (C5)
Firestone Wideoval - $675 (Z06)

R-Compound
Toyo - RA-1 275-40-17 F and 305-35-18 rear on Z06 wheels around $1100 add $120 to 150 for shaving (to extend tread life)
Kuhmo - V710 275-40-17 F and 315 -35-18 rear on Z06 wheels $950 plus heat cycling.
Hoosier - RS304/RS305 (not sure of tire size for stock rims)

Racing Slicks
I believe that you have to buy these used from a distibutor I know John Berget is in WI here but that's all the info I have. You guys will have to help me out on this one.

ENGINE

Oil Coolers

Radiator/Oil Cooler Combo
LG Supercool - $1080 (with lines)
DRM/Ron Davis - $1300 (with lines)

Stand Alone Oil Cooler
DRM - $650
Lingenfelter - $600 (there may be issues if you use a big sway bar in front with this oil cooler)

Accumulator/Accucump
Moroso Accumulator/Accusump- $500 with braided lines, fittings and on/off switch
The Accumulator/Accusump stores another 1.5 or 3 quarts so if your engine is starved for oil it will save your engine. It also will prelube your engine before you start the car.

I'm not going to get into engine mod's for more power if you want any of that then go to www.LS1tech.com they will tell you anything that you need to know.

DRIVELINE

Clutch - Flywheel
A lightened flywheel will help your car rev quicker and make those downshifts easier as well. These are some kits that include the clutch, while your at it you may as do both.

Exedy Single - $1300 (DRM) $1400 (LG)
Exedy Double - $1750 (DRM)
Textrilia $1150 - (LG with Aluminum Flywheel)

Tranny/Diff Coolers
DRM - $1250
LG - $2000 with coolers
GM T1 Kit (Tranny only) - $1100

Other
DTE Tranny Strut - $390 (LG) (mostly for drag racers but if you are running big cubes it may be a good idea)
Hardened Output Shafts - $200 left $260 right and $250 RH gear or
LG Rebuilt differential - $1500 to $2150 depending on gear ratio and upgrades. (typically for HPDE's you will be fine but again if you are running big cubes or forced induction this may be a good idea)

MISCELLANEOUS

Short Throw Shifters
Kirben - $185 (DRM)
Hurst - $170 (Summit)
B&M - $190 (Summit)
GM C6 Z06 - $180

Shift *****
Hurst Ball - $?
Delrin - $? (I think Hardbar sells something)

Performance Meters/ Data Acquisition
G-Tech RR - $299

O.K. it's getting late so I'm just going to post this and you guys will have to proof read it for me and tell mw what I did wrong.
As for the PFC pads are concerned, check us out.

If you are new to the HPDE thing and wondering with all this info: now what?

I have set up a nice thread of what I have learned from trial and error... and lots of wasted money figuring it out.
