Seriously, I've been an SAE member for a million years, and occasionally they have some interesting stuff in their mag.

only problem with SAE, like most industry mags, is that most of their info comes directly from manufacturers. Basically an advertisement in many cases, just like many other technical "journals"

btw, that article is a year old. I'm pretty sure we've had this conversation before.

David, true enough, but at least it gives the engineers a place to flex. If it wasn't for the SAE, I don't know that we'd be able to see very far into the workings of automotive products.
