Just bought an enclosed trailer
I have been borrowing a friend's enclosed trailer and it was inevitable - we both need it the same weekend.
The local trailer shop was running a special so I purchased a 24' Wells Cargo enclosed car hauler (Motortrac 1000 series).
Rear Ramp Door with Dual Spring Assist Cables
Plywood Ramp Toe Extension
Rear Swing Down Stabilizer Jacks
Reinforced 4’ Recessed Beavertail
36” Side Door with Full-Length Cam Lock
Recessed Step at Side Door
3/4” Exterior Grade Plywood Floor (undercoated)
1/4” Plywood Interior Sidewall Liner
12-Volt Dome Lights (2) with Wall Switch
18” ATP Stone Guard with Intergrated Corners
Smooth Aluminum Fenderettes
Galvanized Steel Roof
Tubular Steel Main Rails
Full Height C-Channel Crossmembers & Outriggers
Chassis Fully Primed and Painted Silver
3-Piece A-Frame with 2 5/16” Ball Coupler Hitch
15” Bias Belted Tires on Silver Mod Wheels
Electric Brakes with Weather Resistant Wiring
Wet Cell Battery Breakaway System
It's a basic trailer with wood paneling interior but the price was pretty good for a new trailer with 10,000# GVW, dual brakes. At least I don't have to worry about borrowing a trailer any more.
I'll need to fix it up some - mainly storage. Any good sources for cabinets, racks, etc.?
Anyone put black/white checkered tiles in their trailers?
Did you just use the regular floor tiles like you put in your garage?
I have seen people with diamond plate on ramp and inside. I think that would be slick and hot if the ramp was left open on a summer day.
Now I gotta figure out how to tell the wife what I just did

Also put garage floor expoxy in gray on the flooring. I was going to put the peal and stick checkarbard tiles down but they would not stick. So I only have a finish line stripe.

Need marine ( boat ) latches for the cabinets too keep them shut and locked to stuff would not fall out.
You will love having it. Some times I come home Sunday night and I am so tired that I just leave everything locked up and unload Monday.

I didn't put cabinets in the front of mine, but I did put in a work bench and an upper shelf. That allows me to put 4 tires, and spare parts boxes under the workbench and store stuff in the upper shelf. With an enclosed cabinet I couldn't have stored the tires under it.
Line both sides and the nose with "E" track. With that you can attach stuff (Tool Boxes, canopies, chairs, etc.) to the sides with straps and not worry about them becoming missles.

Mine was also a basic wood interior too. I painted the inside with primer and two coats of exertior house paint in white. Brightend it up.
Also put garage floor expoxy in gray on the flooring. I was going to put the peal and stick checkarbard tiles down but they would not stick. So I only have a finish line stripe.
Pitproducts doc com has the racks and ramps and cabinets. I bought some out of stock wood cabinets from Lowe's and painted them white and put a board on top of them with the checkerboard tiles on for a work bench.
Need marine ( boat ) latches for the cabinets too keep them shut and locked to stuff would not fall out.

Brought the trailer home last night so there is no hiding it now.
Wife walked in and asked "so we have a trailer now..."
I told her "don't worry about it....I've got it figured out how to pay for it "
It was pretty quiet last night but at least she's talking to me this morning.

Tell her it is a second home in an emergency or if you move you can use it and save money. Good Luck with the trailer!

a few shots you asked for.
Fuel Storage ( three 5 gallon jugs and funnel )
Cooler, garbage box, Air Compressor goes in that opening to the left of the Cab.
Wire Shelf for light things- car cover, flags, folding chair. bungee cord to hold things on. Helmets on work bench
Latch ( Marine - for boats )
Front hook - for tie downs and driving suit
Stick on Finish line tiles - stick like chit - and wheel chalks
